A certain tension acts on the elastic fabric, the fabric extends under a certain tension, the fabric extends to the specified elongation, and the fabric recovers after the tension is removed. One end of the sample is clamped with a clamp at the top of the machine, and a certain initial load weight is applied to the other end. Two marking distances are made to the sample from the bottom of the clamp; then a prescribed load weight is applied to the sample, and the distance between the two markers is measured after a static wait of 1 hour or a prescribed time; the load weight is removed after 30 seconds or 1 hour. After an hour or other prescribed time, the initial load-bearing weight is applied and the distance between the two marks is measured again. Then the elastic recovery rate (%) and residual deformation rate (%) of the specimen are calculated by a special formula. The specific time, the length of the sample and the parameters of the load-bearing weight can be selected by the client through negotiation.
