Geosynthetics hydrostatic pressure tester (geosynthetics impermeability tester) is used to test non-woven geotextiles or other materials as the base material, polyethylene, polyvinyl chloride and other membranes as the production of non-woven composite geotextiles (one cloth, one film, two cloth and one film), used to determine a certain time under the specified hydraulic pressure difference. The seepage flow rate (i. E. seepage velocity) of the inner sample and the thickness of the sample can be calculated and the permeability coefficient can be obtained.

When the pressure head on both sides of the sample reaches a certain value, the sample breaks down; the hydraulic pressure difference on both sides is increased step by step and kept for a certain period of time. When the seepage flow increases rapidly, the sample is damaged, that is, the hydrostatic pressure value is obtained. The machine can include two functions, namely, the determination of hydrostatic pressure and the determination of permeability coefficient.
