The design of Q-Su n B02 sunshine color fastness tester is based on the requirements of ISO 105 B02 and ATCC method 16 sunshine color fastness test. It has a drum-type sample holder, which provides accurate control of key parameters such as spectrum, irradiance, relative humidity, temperature in the box and blackboard temperature. Compared with similar equipment, the test capacity is 48% to 92%.

1. Xenon lamp tube

B02 uses an air-cooled xenon lamp tube to provide full spectrum sunlight with a power of 1800 W. Q-Lab recommends replacing the lamp every 1500 hours.

2. Optical filter

The optical filter consists of borosilicate glass outer filter and 14 inner filter. The inner filter is arranged in two groups of heptagons. According to the requirements of exposure or test conditions, choose the inner filter, Windows-IR or 3, Windows-B/SL.

3. Irradiation Control

B02 is equipped with solar eye irradiance control system, which can refer to the setting range of irradiance in technical parameters.

Temperature and relative humidity control

B02 can control the temperature of the box and blackboard or black mark at the same time. The humidity sensor can accurately control the relative humidity and refer to the setting range of relative humidity in the technical parameters.

4. Calibration

Auto Cal: Calibration using CR20 radiometer.

Blackboard temperature: Calibration with CT202 thermometer.

Box temperature and relative humidity: sensor is replaced once a year.

All calibrations can be traced back to NIST and meet ISO requirements.

CR20 and CT202 need to be sent back to Q-Lab company for calibration every year.
